REQUIREMENTS FOR IMPORTS OF PERSONAL EFFECTS

PANAMANIANS OUT OF THE COUNTRY

1. To be leaving outside of the country for more than two years.
2. To have a document that certifies your absence of the country for the period of more than two years. Preferably to get a credited letter from the Panamanian Consulate of the country where you were leaving.
3. Students: Diploma or Credits
4. Worker: A document that certifies that you were working outside the Country.
5. All the documents should be consigned to the person who is entitled to the import, indicating the residence place.
6. Required Documents: Packing List, Air waybill or Bill of Lading, Passport, Any other document that can proof your absence of the country for more than two years.

FOREIGNERS

1. Lawyers' letter certifying your migratory status.
2. Letter of the company certifying your status inside the company and confirming your position.
3. Packing List, Air Waybill or Bill of Lading indicating the residence place and passport number.

DIPLOMATICS

1. Application Form of the Ministry of External Relations of Panama.
2. Letter of the Diplomatic entity confirming your link with them and requesting the entrance of your belongings.
3. Packing List, Air Waybill or Bill of Lading, Passport and Documents requested.
